CYBERSECURITY
Global cyber crime costs are expected to reach $10.5 Trillion by 2025 - a 15 percent increase a year - according to Cybersecurity Ventures. Cybercrime costs include damage and destruction of data, stolen money, lost productivity, theft of intellectual property, theft of personal and financial data, embezzlement, fraud, post-attack disruption to the normal course of business, forensic investigation, restoration and deletion of hacked data and systems, and reputational harm.
DECARBONIZATION
Around the globe, corporations, countries, states, local communities and more are setting decarbonization reduction goals. The United States has set a net-zero emissions goal for 2050 by reducing greenhouse gases and carbon dioxide. In order to reach these goals, key policies will need to be put in place to ensure reduction goals will be met. The Nepheline Group carefully watches policies that affect decarbonizing heat, particularly paying attention to buildings and HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning).

The grid is actually composed of three separate sections - the Eastern grid the Western grid and the Texas Intercontinental Connection. There are three main steps in the process of getting power to homes and businesses: generation, transmission and distribution.

According to the U.S. Department of Energy, Energy Information Association (EIA), renewables made up nearly 20 percent of utility-scale U.S. electricity generation in 2020. Currently, some of the fastest-growing sources of electricity have been from renewable resources. We focus on solar, wind, hydrogen & fuel cells and more.
